The life of a church flows into and out of our regular gatherings for worship. Our prayerful and artistic music, our time devoted to children, and our opportunities for deep reflection nourish the soul. Our sermons are creative, engaging, based in the Bible and relevant to the present day, and they equip and empower us to live our life of faith throughout the week. We hope that you will come join us and see what they are all about, whether you join us in-person, or try it out first online. We meet every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM (10:00 AM in the summer). We hope to see you there!
Music is a central part of our Sunday morning services. We have a highly accomplished organist, Marie Matetich, whose playing during the prelude and postlude create an atmosphere for mindful contemplation at the beginning and end of each service. The choirs’ anthems and music can lead the congregation through quiet prayers or energize us with joyful praises.
Singers are welcome to join our chancel choir. They rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm at the church from September through May taking a summer recess from June to late August. The choir is led by our music director, Lisa Geist who selects a wide variety of music ranging from jubilant songs, spirituals, and prayerful meditations.
Ringers are welcome to join our handbell choir. They also rehearse Wednesday evenings, meeting from 6-7pm at the church from September through May taking a summer recess from June to late August. The choir is led by our music director, Lisa Geist.
We frequently welcome church members and others from our city to share their talents during our Sunday worship services. We are blessed to have adult and youth musicians who play a wide variety of instruments including strings, brass, woodwinds, guitar, and piano. If you are interested in sharing your musical gifts, please contact music director Lisa Geist or the church office.
