We invite you to support the church by encouraging your friends to purchase 12X16 prints of this original painting by Pastor Matt. It would make a nice gift for anyone that loves Anchorage and the ways that our church seeks to make it a place of “Shalom,” or ‘peace and wholeness.’
The word “Shalom” in Hebrew (שָׁלוֹם) is even hidden in the cityscape, with our own church building as the Hebrew letter “Lamed.” Also, the star on the mountain represents the hope for peace and a future of the “beloved community,” built on love for our neighbors. The video of Pastor Matt painting this cityscape is available on the church Facebook page, so friends who purchase a print can see how it was made.
We recommend a tax-deductible donation of $15 per month for 12 months – that’s just under 50 cents per day, or $180 total if a one-time donation is preferred.
