Our annual Alternative Gift Market is virtual this year! We hope you’ll take time to explore the local non-profit agencies and PC(USA) missions listed below and consider donating to one, or more, of them in honor of a friend or family member this Christmas.
Many of the organizations have cards you can give to your intended recipient to tell them that you have given in their honor, but if you make a donation and still need a card to wrap under tree, please contact us!

Children’s Lunchbox
Make sure all families in Anchorage have food to eat. Buy a pantry box!
A Food Pantry Box is a shoe box filled with food items that will make a meal for a family of four. Click here to see the menus, food items needed, and directions for assembling the Food Pantry Boxes. Boxes can be brought to the church through Sunday, Dec. 20.
Bean’s Café
In response to COVID-19, and at the request of the Municipality of Anchorage, Bean’s Café has increased services and currently provides all client operations at Sullivan Arena.
Aside from serving over 3000 meals each day and providing shelter to those in need, they also provide a variety of support services to move the guests to self-sufficiency.
Covenant House
Provide compassionate, sustainable services and shelter to homeless or at-risk youth in Alaska.
Downtown Hope Center
Inspired by the love of Jesus, they offer those in need support, shelter, sustenance, and skills to transform lives. Provides shelter services for women, culinary and bakery job skills training, daily meals, laundry, and a clothing bank.
AWAIC Shelter
Abused Women’s Aid in Crisis, AWAIC is the largest domestic violence safe shelter in Alaska. We provide emergency support services to women, men, and their children.
Anchor Presbyterian Church
Anchor Presbyterian Church meets in our building. The congregation seeks to provide support and a welcoming presence for native Alaskans. Much of their ministry is centers on being a welcoming congregation for those who who worship with them and are without housing. Donated funds provide Siberian Yupik Bibles, coffee and snacks for Fellowship time, communion supplies, and building rent.

Rev. Ryan and Alethia White
The Iranian Presbyterian Church in Berlin Germany, in addition to providing worship opportunities in Farsi, helps Iranian refugees and immigrants begin a new life in Germany. Since 2013, Ryan and Alethia White have worked with the congregation to offer pastoral care to those who are now making Germany their home.
