UPDATE: GRATITUDE GATHERING POSTPONED TO NEXT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15. STAY TUNED.

You are invited to join us outside at First Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November 8, from 1:30-3:00pm. At our Gratitude Gathering we will have prayer stations, a Being Thankful 30-day journal for you to take home, games for families, as well as a fire pit and hot chocolate!
We invite everyone to bring canned corn to support the community Thanksgiving Blessing food distribution. Our goal is to collect 500 cans of corn. We will also be collecting items for our neighbors staying at Sullivan Arena. (Blankets, shoes, winter boots, socks, winter coats, gloves, mittens, pants, shirts, sweatshirts, and toiletries.)
In order to manage pandemic precautions we have two options with hopes of including everyone at our Gratitude Gathering:
Drive Through:
1. Drive through the parking lot WITH MASKS ON and have opportunity to say social distance hellos to others from the church.
2. Pick up a Being Thankful 30-day journal
3. Drop off donations of corn and clothing
Park and Participate (according to MOA safety mandates):
Park your car and get out to enjoy the activities outside. WEAR YOUR MASKS. the safety of everyone in mind, we will have games for families, as well as prayer stations, and a Being Thankful journal for you to take home. We will have a fire pit, but ask that you bring your own cup for hot chocolate!
If possible, please RSVP if you are coming so we make sure we have the event set up to abide by the MOA requirements for your safety. You can RSVP by email to Danna Larson, or text her at 907-538-7313.
