One of the PC(USA) offerings that our church supports is the Peace and Global Witness Offering. This offering enables the church to promote the peace of Christ by addressing systems of injustice in our own communities, and across the world, and to cast off anxiety and fear, discord and division, and embrace our God’s mission of reconciliation to those around the corner and around the world.
25% of the offering received will be used to support those in our community and presbytery who are grieving the loss of a family member due to suicide, and to provide suicide prevention resources to congregation members and others in the Yukon Presbytery.
In addition, money received through this offering will go to support Ryan and Alethia White, mission co-workers in Germany. Ryan is from Anchorage and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.If you would like to contribute to this offering, you may send a check to the church (616 W. 10th Ave. Anchorage, 99501) and designate it Peace and Global Witness or you may make a donation online and select the Peace and Global Witness Fund.
